Changing from GML to BHMB

Some of you may recgonize the prefix of the Mini Lops, GML, otherwise, Glacier Mini Lops. We are one in the same! So why the name change? Well after working with Mini Lops since I was like 12/15 or so years old, I have decided to bring in some new challenges.
Of course the Harlequins have been in the barn for a few years now, under the prefix of Glacier Harlequins. But first I decided to bring back the Mini Rex. My oldest daughter, Kassie, worked on the Himi variety for a few years. I have really missed having them in the barn, and although she is now once again working on the Himi variety, I have decided to work with Blue, Chocolate and Lilac! But these are all breeds that we know.....we wanted to challenge ourselves and bring in something new.....
So here came the Lionheads and the Netherlands!
I have never worked with ANY upright breed as far as typing, breeding, showing, etc. Not to mention any breed that has wool! Challenge accepted! So here we are with a total of FIVE breeds! Okay so Glacier Mini Lops was easily converted to Glacier Mini Lops & Harlequins with the addition of my Harlies.
But Glacier Mini Lops, Harlequins, Mini Rex, Lionheads and Netherland Dwarfs? That is a mouthful! So with that came the name change.
Why Bailey's Heavy Metal Bunnies?
Well #1 we are working together as a family, therefore the family name of Bailey's is first and foremost. #2 Heavy Metal.....well what can I say? We are a family of Metal heads for the most part, and love our music! Perhaps, not everyone's taste, but that is okay. The name came to me when traveling to a show, Always when traveling I am rocking out with my bunnies in the back. They are used to it, as we also have music playing in the barn. Heavy Metal Bunnies, well it's original, and it suits us! So here we are, new breeds, new name.....same faces, same Mini Lops & Harlies! Fun Fact:
The rabbits bearing the BHMB prefix (as well as a handful of GML rabbits) are all named after songs, bands, or lyrics. Those named after songs will have a video of that particular song playing on their profile!
